Ardisia is a luxury villa in Puglia with a swimming pool and sea views that can host up to eight guests.
Recently built, this prestigious villa has elegant barrel vaults made of local stone, inspired by the typical rural architecture of the area. As well as characteristic vineyards that surround the villa, there is also an English-style garden with a wonderful swimming pool and several areas for fun and relaxation.
Villa Ardisia’s highlight however is its position. It’s only five minutes’ away in the car from the famous Pescoluse beach which is also known as the Maldives of Salento.

The lovely veranda has a trellis covering and a dining table. This area looks over the swimming pool, as well as the surrounding greenery and a glimpse of the sea in the distance. This is a fantastic area for al fresco lunches and dinners, with gentle breezes with the scent of the nearby sea in the air. The built-in barbecue is just next to the veranda that also has a sink. This is the perfect spot for cooking meals with the sound of cicadas as your holiday soundtrack.
The highlight of this villa is the large turquoise swimming pool that is surrounded on three sides by the well-kept English-style garden which creates a vibrant area with contrasting greens and blues. Next to the swimming pool are sunloungers and umbrellas, as well as an external shower so you can easily spend carefree, relaxed moments in this area.
Another touch of luxury is created by the lighting system around the pool. Theses lights add a charming atmosphere to the area during long summer nights. Finally, there’s also a roof terrace where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening after a perfect holiday day in Puglia, watching the sun go down over the countryside and sea.
Ardisia has a charming character thanks to its traditional architectural look, and its interiors that mix rustic and modern styles with delicate tonalities throughout.
The large windows on two sides create a bright and welcoming living area with comfortable sofas, a TV, and a dining table. In the same area there’s a spacious and modern kitchen with everything you need. The predominant colour in this area is white, which perfectly goes together with the beige flooring, the arched ceiling, and the stone walls.
A corridor leads to the bedrooms. Guests have access to four bedrooms with double beds. Two of these bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers, and all bedrooms have direct access to the garden. There’s another bathroom with a shower for the bedrooms in this area.
Ardisia is so close to the sea, in an area between the gentle hills where you’ll find the town of Salve, and the splendid Pescoluse beach, which is only 3 km from the villa. This is one of the most famous coastal areas in all of Puglia, also known as the Maldives of Salento thanks to its golden sand and crystal-clear waters.
You also shouldn’t miss Santa Maria di Leuca, the most southern point in Puglia. This town is only 15 km from the villa, and is famous for its beautiful lighthouse, the Santa Maria di Finibus Terrea sanctuary, its seafront with Liberty-style villas, and the amazing sea caves which you can visit during a boat trip. Heading along the Ionian coast you should also stop off at Gallipoli. This town has charmed visitors for centuries thanks to its town centre with narrow streets, its stone buildings, and its sandy beaches like Purità, as well as its gastronomic culture that’s seen in the town’s many restaurants serving delicious fresh fish and local specialities.
